My name’s Patch.

Once upon a time, I did lot of writing for IGN.com - as Entertainment Editor for the Australian branch. As a part of that, I also did a lot of film reviews, and these were a big part of what I loved most about the job. As people do, I eventually moved on from IGN and began my own things. You should check them out.

But this – this – is something that has been on the back-burner for a while now; it’s a review site for everybody who’s sick of floury, hype-driven authors and fans posing as writers. Basically, it’s a review site minus the bullshit. Plus, I just really want to keep reviewing films because it’s fun and I think I have something worthwhile to say.

Until I don’t – or my fingers fall off or I get bored or rich or die, feel free to join me on here. I’ll try and keep the content coming.
